Founded in 1885, the Undurragas established the Koyle Family Vineyard in 2006 after purchasing a Los Lingues property in Alto Colchagua at the foot of the Andes Mountains.

An agricultural engineer and sixth-generation winemaker, Cristobal Undurraga Marimon (known as 'Toti') returned from seven years of viticulture and enology experience in Napa Valley, Australia, the famed 'Chateau Margaux' in Bordeaux and Mendoza-Argentina to oversee production. Motivated by a terroir-driven philosophy and respect for the ecosystem, their transition to biodynamic farming began in 2008 and culminated with a certification in 2012 that Cristobal credits as a collective effort amongst close advisors and his broader family team.

True to the name Koyle (derived from a purple flower growing wild in the vineyard), 2018's 'Costa La Flor' Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful expression of freshness and texture from fermentation in stainless steel followed by three months of aging on the lees.
